When there is something to give - The 1st Rebisco Christmas Outreach Program.

Just before the turn of a new leaf, Rebisco ends 2010 with goodwill and smiles to those who especially need them. Last December 30, 2010, with the participation of our fellow employees, the first Rebisco Group of Food Companies (RGFC) Christmas Outreach Program was held in two institutions – the Asociacion de Damas Filipinas, and the Philippine Children’s Medical Center’s (PCMC) Pediatric Center.

The first is a non-government organization located in Paco, Manila committed in serving children who are abandoned, neglected, and orphaned, whose families, relatives or guardians cannot provide them with the basic needs, while the second is a center that provides medical care to children with various illnesses. Beneficiaries for Asociacion de Damas Filipinas totaled 86 children while PCMC totaled to 130 children.

We are privileged for what we have but significance of our blessings only matters when they are shared. That is why we would like to thank all those who volunteered and donated, both in kind and in cash, to this very timely endeavor.

Until the next outreach program, let us keep each day a Christmas day for everyone. After all, giving gifts and merriment doesn’t have to end in December.
