Bringing Delight to Plant Communities: 3,000 Ayuda Bags Distributed by Rebisco

We are all used to giving and receiving gifts on Christmas, but Rebisco Foundation Inc. (RFI) gave

it a different twist when the ayuda bags packed by our employee volunteers were distributed

last February 20 to 27, 2023, filling the hearts of our recipients with joy and gratitude. True to

our tagline of #RebiscoKasalo, our bags of Rebisco products, bihon pack and special canned

goods were meant to inspire shared meals for families as they start a new year.

Sharing Love and Gratitude

Happiness was spread from our North to South plant communities as the RFI team together

with employee volunteers gave away ayuda bags in school distribution sites. The schools helped

identify students who were underprivileged, especially those who are undernourished, to be

recipients of our ayuda. The bags were handed over to the students as their parents and

guardians expressed gratitude for the unexpected gifts they received.

A Program that Keeps Giving

A total of 3,000 ayuda bags were given away to selected recipients in Marilao, Bulacan;

Mabalacat, Pampanga; Gerona, Tarlac; Tanza, Cavite and Canlubang, Laguna. A short program

was organized by the schools as a way of giving thanks and recognizing the value of the

gift-giving project. It was truly a delightful day seeing the happy smiles of our recipients as RFI

and employee volunteers, and teachers worked together in keeping the distribution activitiesn order.
