Get to Know Project H.A.P.A.G. by the Rebisco Foundation, Inc.
Project H.A.P.A.G. (Handog Ayuda sa Pamilya, Agapay sa Ginhawa) is a gift-giving project by Rebisco,
which also serves as an annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) employee engagement activity
where volunteers can join scheduled repacking sessions.
Project H.A.P.A.G. aims to delight families in our plant communities, so that they can have a special meal
to lay on their tables as they begin a new year, especially in time for the Chinese New Year. This
manifests prosperity and inspires families who have less in life to share meals together during this festive event.
We want to be their KASALO by sharing our blessings through the donation of buckets filled with
Rebisco products, rice and assorted canned goods. Our buckets will be made even more special with the
happy hearts of employee volunteers who spare their precious time to pack and ensure that each bucket is full.
For Filipino families, the HAPAG Kainan is an important space where families gather together to enjoy
their food while sharing stories.
In this modern world where gadgets prevail over heartfelt conversations, we desire for each HAPAG
kainan to bring delight as families eat together. Nothing beats purposeful connection and togetherness
even just for an hour of meal time no matter what food is laid on the table.
We believe that offering gifts is not only limited during Christmas, but it can also be meaningful at the
start of the year. With this, we initiated an early gift-giving activity to our communities last 2023. Our
Rebisco Leaders and other Department Heads participated in the repacking activities, which
demonstrated our company’s CSR commitment.
Rebisco, together with its employees, aims to keep the spirit of volunteerism alive. Through Project
H.A.P.A.G, we join hands in spreading good vibes – demonstrating our company vision to create a
positive impact on our communities.
