Meeting the ALAS Pilipinas National Volleyball Team Up Close

An electric mood surged through the halls of Rebisco Ortigas when the ALAS Pilipinas National Team

visited last June 3, 2024. Culminating in a thrilling victory over Australia to secure the bronze medal,

they celebrated their “herstoric” third place finish at the recent Asian Volleyball Confederation

Challenge Cup held at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum.

The team was warmly welcomed by employees from Rebisco. Everyone buzzed with excitement as the

athletes arrived, carrying with them the same spirit and determination they had throughout the tournament.

In recognition of the team’s success, Rebisco gifted the players with our well-loved products. Employees

also had a chance to have photo opportunities with the team.

The visit concluded with heartfelt speeches and cheers, celebrating not only the team’s win but also the

strength of Filipinos in sports, especially at an international level. Their success became a source of

immense pride for the entire nation.

ALAS Pilipinas’ remarkable achievement reached the highest tournament finish for a national team from

the Philippines. More than anything, we are proud of their win especially since the team is composed of

three members from Rebisco’s very own Creamline Cool Smashers and Choco Mucho Flying Titans.

Even with only two weeks of preparation, the players showed their extraordinary heart, discipline and

talent, as they represented our country while giving everything they have on court.
