Rebisco Supports the 2024 National Learning Camp
The National Learning Camp is part of the Department of Education’s (DepEd) commitment to learning
recovery, designed as a voluntary end-of-school-year break program to improve student outcomes and
enhance teacher capacity. The event underscored the dual purpose of the camp – improving learner
outcomes and strengthening teacher competence.
The camp was divided into three distinct groups: Enhancement, Consolidation, and Intervention.
The Enhancement Camp focused on helping advanced learners deepen their knowledge and skills.
The Consolidation Camp offered further practice and application of grade-level learning competencies,
while the Intervention Camp employed targeted, evidence-based approaches to support high-needs
learners in mastering fundamental literacy and numeracy skills.
The program catered to two groups of learners: K to Grade 3 learners, who focused on developing
literacy and numeracy skills, and Grades 4 to 12 learners, who concentrated on Science, Technology,
Engineering, Mathematics, and Reading.
