RFI Successfully Holds its First AKKaP Medical Mission in Bukidnon
The Rebisco Foundation, Inc. (RFI) began making the rounds for its Alay Kalusugan, Kaakibat ng Pamilya
(AKKaP) Medical Mission program in our plant areas last May 3, mounting its first medical mission for
the year at Damilag Elementary School in Bukidnon.
In partnership with Rebisco Bukidnon, employee volunteers were mobilized together with doctors,
barangay health workers, teachers and RFI scholars for the mission. Everyone diligently performed their
tasks, leading to the orderly flow of patients from one station to the next.
More than 340 individuals from our plant community received medical consultations, medicines, and
special Rebisco treats. Many of the patients were children and students from Damilag Elementary
School needing vitamins and basic examination. Nurses from the Rebisco Bukidnon clinic led the
dispensing of multivitamins and medicines mostly for fever, coughs and colds, hypertension and
diabetes.
RFI extends their gratitude to Rebisco Bukidnon and Damilag Elementary School for the fruitful
partnership, and to our New Business Development team for donating bottles of milk coffee served to
beneficiaries and volunteers.
Thank you to all the AKKaP volunteers: doctors, teachers, employees, barangay workers, and scholars!
You all contributed to the success of our first medical mission for the year.
