Continuing Relief Support for Public Schools Affected by Recent Disasters
For two months โ November and December 2025 โ Rebisco sustained its relief efforts for communities impacted by recent natural calamities, including Typhoon Nando, Typhoon Uwan, and a 6.9-magnitude earthquake. Together with the Department of Education (DepEd), our teams worked to ensure that support reached public schools as they recovered and resumed classes.
Relief assistance covered public schools across Romblon, Occidental Mindoro, Bicol, Pangasinan 1, Cagayan, Zambales, Cebu City, Cebu Province, and Bukidnon (Indigenous schools - Seven distinct tribes).
Through this initiative, we distributed 15,000 boxes of assorted Rebisco products, reaching over 2,000 public schools across partner divisions. These were shared with learners to provide comfort and a small boost of energy during a time of disruption.
As recovery moves forward, we remain guided by 'malasakit' โ showing up, staying the course, and standing with our public schools as they rebuild and move ahead with hope.
