Raising the Bar for Public School Canteen Excellence

From 2022 to 2026, the Rebiscover Learning Program transformed over 90 public school

canteens nationwide.

Now on its third year, the program's Best in School Canteen Practices Inter-School Competition

has expanded into an inter-provincial initiative across DepEd Region III. This gathered together

21 Schools Division Offices (SDOs) and 63 public schools, in a shared pursuit of excellence for

school canteen operations.

The program culminated in a recognition ceremony last July 15, at the DepEd Regional Office III

in Pampanga, celebrating schools that demonstrated exemplary commitment to these

standards. More than recognizing performance, the event highlighted the dedication of school

administrators, canteen managers, teachers, and staff who work every day to create healthier

and safer food environments for their learners.

We extend our congratulations to all participating schools, and our sincere thanks to DepEd

Region III, our participating brands, and every school leader, teacher, and canteen personnel

who made this year's program a success!
