Striving for a Cleaner Tomorrow – Rebisco`s Second Coastal Cleanup Drive

The spirit of environmental stewardship came alive last November 2023 when 118 employee volunteers

across Rebisco joined hands for a second coastal cleanup drive.

Held at the coast in Tanza, Cavite, this event aimed not only to foster camaraderie among employees

but also to underscore Rebisco’s commitment to environmental responsibility.

Culture of Environmental Consciousness

The cleanup served as a testament to the company’s dedication to being a corporate citizen that values

and cares for its surroundings.

Beyond cleaning up, the event brought an air of collaborative resolve within Rebisco as everyone

worked together for this waste reduction initiative. The activity displayed the true spirit of “malasakit sa

kapaligiran” while promoting a culture of health and safety.

Camaraderie with One Cause

The event kicked off with a short program, featuring stretching exercises to prepare volunteers for the

activity ahead. Despite a sudden rainfall which shortened the actual cleanup time, all volunteers

still managed to collect 60 sacks or 1,140 kilograms of trash.

To cap off the cleanup activity, the coastal cleanup volunteers shared a moment of delight, through our

very own Rebisco snacks and drinks — a moment that highlighted a sense of unity and accomplishment.

Our second cleanup activity not only achieved environmental objectives but also created lasting

memories of collaboration, commitment, and shared responsibility. As Rebisco continues to embody

the principles of sustainability and corporate citizenship, these initiatives underline our dedication to making

a positive impact on the environment and communities we serve.
