Two Weeks of Successful Gift Giving Through Project H.A.P.A.G.

Last January 2024, the first repacking session of Project H.A.P.A.G. (Handog Ayuda sa Pamilya, Agapay sa

Ginhawa) commenced. A total of 55 volunteers across Rebisco, including scholars from Rebisco

Foundation, Inc. (RFI), energetically filled 1,744 buckets with Rebisco products, rice and assorted canned

goods. They exceeded the target of 1,500 buckets for the first round of distribution through their active

collaboration. Rebisco leaders were present to support Project H.A.P.A.G., sharing their time by

repacking items. The repacking sessions concluded with delightfully fun awards for volunteers.

What made this first repacking session extra special was that the buckets were immediately distributed

to the chosen recipients in our Pampanga and Cavite plant communities. The RFI Team, together with its

partners, delighted pupils and their parents at San Francisco Elementary School, Mabalacat with 500

buckets filled with goodies. 1000 more buckets were distributed in Bienvenido Fojas Elementary School,

Halayhay Elementary School, and Gregoria Fojas Elementary School.

The positive impact of this gift-giving endeavor was sustained during the second repacking session,

where employee volunteers also exceeded the day's target with 1,799 completed buckets. It was a lively

session as everyone cheered for every 100 buckets produced. Rebisco leaders headed the repacking

assembly line, encouraging everyone’s dedication to their tasks.

The good vibes were extended to our communities, as RFI continued the distribution activities in more

schools. Together with Rebisco partners, a total of 1,000 more buckets were happily received by the

pupils and parents who assembled in Sirang Lupa Elementary School in Canlubang, Laguna, and Villa Paz

Elementary School, New Salem Elementary School, and Mabini Elementary School in Gerona, Tarlac.

RFI already wrapped up its repacking activity on February 2024, completing the 4,500 buckets for

distribution in our NCR and Luzon plant communities.
