Bayanihan Para sa Matatag na Paaralan - Rebisco Joins DepEd’s Brigada Balik Eskwela Program
For the longest time, Rebisco has been caring for its community with delight. Every year, we create
ripples in the lives of students and teachers by participating in the Department of Education's (DepEd) cause.
With our aim of helping schools, students and teachers, we also aim to strengthen our brand connection
to learners from early grade and junior high school levels.
Because Rebisco products are constant favorite school baon among school children, we joined Balik
Eskwela activities to provide entertainment and free snacks to both the learners and school officials.
There were a total of 133,000 learners from 14 mega schools in the National Capital Region (NCR).
Brigada Balik Eskwela is a DepEd initiative that calls for engagement and collaboration with various
sectors, in support of school readiness towards the opening of classes.
A short program composed of exciting and fun-filled activities took place to prepare each school for the
opening of classes. With the theme ‘Bayanihan Para sa Matatag na Paaralan’, the event highlighted the
country’s volunteering initiatives to ensure a clean, safe, inclusive, and child-friendly learning
environment.
The ‘First Day High’ event is just one of the many programs and activities Rebisco has lined up to support
the DepEd initiatives for public school learners nationwide.
Rebisco will continuously value and support the country’s endeavors in the educational sector, and we
will help in every little way we can. Alongside this, we will also continue pushing our brands forward so
that our well-loved products leave an indelible mark onthe students and our community who grew up
with their favorite Rebisco snacks.
