Kabalikat sa Pagbangon: Rebisco helps improve school canteens in Abra

In partnership with the Department of Education (DepEd), Rebisco joined the mission to

brighten up school canteens across the country. One of our company’s initiatives is to dress up

school canteens, and recently, we completed two renovations in the province of Abra—

Bangued East Central School and Danglas Central Elementary School.

The Call to Help

The schools were selected as an immediate response to the call for help by DepEd, as these

schools were terribly affected by an earthquake last July 2022. Rebisco's renovations included

repairing the school’s roofing, ceiling, and electrical works, painting works, doors and windows,

and installation of comfort rooms. We even added fun and creative wall murals. These

improvements were completed in just 20 days after the earthquake.

At Rebisco, we are passionate about creating a brighter future for Filipino learners. We believe

that education is the key to unlocking that future. By providing a safe and comfortable

environment for students to enjoy their meals in, we hope to make a small but meaningful

difference in the lives of public school children across the country.
