Rebisco Successfully Held its Second Tree-Planting Activity

Today, the initiative of preserving our natural habitat has grown stronger than ever. To join the

global cause of caring for our environment, Rebisco partnered with the Department of

Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) for its second tree-planting activity in La Mesa

Watershed, Quezon City—a major rainforest of Metro Manila, and a well-known ecological park

in the Philippines.

The first tree-planting activity occurred last 2019 wherein Molave, Bignay and Narra seedlings

were sowed. The previously planted seedlings are visibly growing, and we are happy to see the

fruit of everyone's labor.

95 volunteers from Rebisco joined the activity and planted more than 800 seedlings last May

2023. Before getting into tree-planting, the employee volunteers were oriented on what to do,

and how and where to plant their seedlings. Everyone had a great time as they shared the same

goal of rehabilitating the park.
